1. Who We Are

bizhub.cards (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the digital business card platform at https://bizhub.cards. We are committed to protecting your personal information.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide our service:

• Account information: username, email address, and hashed password.
• Profile content: name, job title, contact details, social links, photos, and any other information you choose to add to your card.
• Usage data: pages visited, browser type, IP address (anonymised after 30 days), and session identifiers.
• Uploaded files: images you upload are stored on our servers in your personal upload folder.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and display your digital business card.
• To send you account-related emails (password reset, billing notices).
• To improve the platform and diagnose technical issues.
• To enforce our User Agreement and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising profiling.

4. Image Storage & Automatic Deletion

When you upload an image, it is converted to WebP format and stored on our server. When you remove an image from your card or replace it with a new one, the old file is automatically deleted from our servers immediately upon saving. We do not retain orphaned image files.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in and a small preference cookie to remember your chosen language. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics cookies.

6. Data Retention

Your account and profile data are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@bizhub.cards. We will process deletion within 7 business days.

7. Third-Party Services

QR codes may be generated using the Google Charts API. The URL of your public card page is sent to Google’s servers solely for QR code rendering. No other personal data is shared. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

8. Security

We use HTTPS for all connections. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. Uploaded files are stored outside the web root where possible and served through validated paths.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to: access your data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, and object to processing. Contact us at privacy@bizhub.cards to exercise any of these rights.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy occasionally. We will notify registered users by email for material changes. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
